Fishin'

We took the kids fishing on Tuesday afternoon. (Cole and Shyler had gone earlier in the day with his sister, brother in law and our neices, but I was at work, so we went again later). We didn't have much luck. Easton caught one, and Cole, but that was it. It was still nice to spend time together though. Aren't the kid's poles so cute!?

The Living Planet Aquarium

The weather on Memorial Day was awful, so we went with Cole's sister Shantel, her fiance Bones, and daughter Destri to the Living Planet Aquarium. The kids loved seeing all the fish and Shyler kept running from exhibit to exhibit and we had to keep telling her to slow down and wait for everyone else!!

New Hair

So I cut 7 inches off my hair! (well 7 in the back, about 41/2 on the sides). My good friend Kelsey is going to school at Dallas Roberts and she did it for me. I love it! And I like it because it still feels long. :)

Cupcake Bites

So I attempted to make some little cupcake bites that i saw on this blog Bakerella

They aren't as cute as hers, but they were my first try. I made mine with chocolate cake instead of red velvet (although I do wanna try that!) and I did green tops instead of purple, but next time I plan to do purple, and use better sprinkles. But this was my first try, so i had to experiment. :)

Ice Cream Faces

Aunt Keshia turned 21 and we had a little family get together. I snapped a couple shots of the kids and their ice cream...what a mess!

They sure love ice cream...here's another shot of them eating some cones with Zoey...

Lot's of pics!

For Christmas this year, my parent's gave us a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois with the family to see some Church history sites. We left on April 26th and flew to Kansas City, from there we drove to Nauvoo and spent a few days seeing the sites in Independence, Missouri, Nauvoo, and Carthage. We had a nice vacation and it was neat seeing some of the historical sites. Thanks Mom and Dad!
