Struggle

I'm struggling a little with my youngest growing up...I know he's no longer a toddler (he's 4) but luckily for me, he's on the smaller side and so still feels like my baby. And the best part, he still lets me cuddle and kiss him, and every day he says, "Mom I love you the most!".
The other morning i was cuddling him in bed and I said, "I don't want you to grow up." and he replied, "But I have to!"... It was a bitter piece of truth that I do not yet want to taste....

Quite the vocab...

This weekend while camping, Easton was sitting in his cute little blue camp chair and wiggling around, balancing it on two legs, etc... well suddenly the chair tipped sideways and he exclaims, "Whoa! Didn't see that coming!" It was too funny!

Triathalon

I competed in my first triathalon last Saturday! It was just a mini one (200 yd swim, 6 mile bike, 1 mile run) but it was SO fun!! I came in 1st in the Ladies and 2nd overall w/ a time of 32:25. My mom came along and took pictures and I was so grateful to have her there supporting me and taking pictures for the group!

Another trip to San Francisco~

I had a training for my job in San Francisco the last few days. I flew in on Sunday night and stayed at the Marriott Downtown (Heaven). I wandered around my block a little bit the first night searching for somewhere to eat, and i have to admit, I was a bit nervous because I'm just a little country girl and there were SO many people. But as you can see I survived. I met some great women at the training and we spent the lunch breaks eating and exploring the surrounding area. Monday night I took a ferry across the bay to meet up with my highschool friend Lisa and her family. It was the first time I've met her husband and her two little girls and they were all so great! We had a great time at dinner, seeing the Golden Gate Bridge and driving around the city. Tuesday night I went out with a few ladies from the training and explored some more. We visited a beautiful catholic church right next to the Marriott, walked around...I must say that evening and the following day when i walked around some more, I really started to love the city. It's just this whole different feeling, and it's exciting! I would love to go back again!! Who knows, maybe I will...

Nine Years...

Nine years ago I stood in a beautiful white wedding gown and veil, butterflies in my stomach and ready to walk towards the man I loved. We married in a small ceremony surrounded by our loved ones. Cole looked so handsome in his black tuxedo as I walked towards him, arm linked in my dad's. Then he took my hands and we locked eyes, smiling. It all happened so quickly, I don't even remember the words of wisdom the bishop shared with us, I just know when he told Cole, "kiss your bride", it was the happiest moment of my life.
Since then we've been sealed to each other in the Manti Temple, purchased a home, have had the two most beautiful and wonderful children, and shared millions of memories.

Cole makes me feel safe and loved and I plan to share forever with him.

Happy Anniversary Babe, I love you!
