Me and My Green Smoothie

Ok, So here is my breakfast. Kale, Apples, Banana, Apricots, Water, Flax Seed and some Protein Powder,...Oh, and I ended up adding some frozen strawberries. YUM!
I'm way behind on the health craze, but now i'm IN and Green Smoothies ROCK! You get the dark leafy greens and can't even taste them! I woulda bought Spinach and tried it first, but it was pricey, and kale was cheap, so I took my chances. Last night was the first one I made, and we just used Strawberries, Banana, Kale and Apricots (oh, and water and flax seeds and a little Agave Nectar for sweetner), and it was DELICIOUS! The kids loved it! I think I liked that one better than this morning. I can't wait to try more fruits! Maybe Mango!

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter this year. The Easter Bunny hid the kids' dyed eggs in the yard and before church they went out to find them.

(Yes, that is a Halloween basket...the easter bunny didn't leave baskets for the kids, he left them Hannah Montana and Cars hamper/bin things, so he didn't have a basket...oops...)
Thanks to Grandma Alice and Grandma Sandra for giving the kids really cute Easter outfits. They looked adorable!
We went to Church and after went to Grandma Alice and Grandpa Steven's for a fun party with the family. The kids had a candy/egg hunt there and got to play with their cousins.

Above: This is my nephew Korbin...Cuteness runs in the family...
Above: The adults wanted some fun too, so we did a relay. Here's Jenny spinning around a really short bat...hahaha

Posting From Perry...

A picture with my girlfriends a few months ago...Love these girls! :)
Can you tell what's wrong in this picture?

Easton and his cousin Lili playing Horsey. I don't think the Horsey actually moved..

Cole, Easton and I at the Jazz game vs. the Timberwolves a week ago. We watched from a suite that my work had. It was so fun. Easton LOVED it!

Here is Easton at the game. I know, bad pic...

This is what he dressed himself in before the game....yea...I had to change him...

Right before I cut his hair again...He's so cute!

This video is of Easton cheering on the Jazz to play Defense!

It's been forever!

Ok so it's been a while since I last posted...
Let's see, what is there to catch up on?
Cole and I took a last minute trip 2 weeks ago to St. George. Cole's grandpa is pretty sick (heart problems), so we went down with a bunch of the family to see him. He's home now and seems to be doing ok for now. So we are relieved. I love Grandpa Garn! He's Easton's namesake as well. :) (Garn is Easton's middle name).
Tomorrow night Cole and I get to go to a Jazz game with my "team" from work. We get to watch the game from a Suite! Rock on!

Let's see...Oh, Easton is POTTY TRAINED!!! It was like a light switch flipped. Seriously! Once he decided it was time, it was like no problem! Everyone was right...you just have to be patient and wait for them to decided. We did encourage, but didn't push. We are soooo happy! He's been doing great! Even staying dry all night!

Shyler is registered for Kindergarten in the Fall! Yikes!! My kids are growing up too fast!! Love it, but Hate it at the same time. She is so mature, and she's super tall. I think she seems much older than 5!

Work is going really good. I'm busy busy...hence the little-to-no posts... I get home from work and it's the same thing...life is busy.

Can't wait for Spring though! This stupid cold weather is seriously depressing!!!
Ah yes, I forgot I didn't blog about Miss Spanish Fork...or did I? Anyways...So Shyler was asked by Cole's cousin, Chelsea to be her escort, Lil' Miss for the Miss Spanish Fork Pageant. Shyler had to go on stage with the other little girls and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Later in the show, she escorted Chelsea out during the Formal Wear part. She looked beautiful and we were such proud parents. Chelsea did AMAZING! She won an award that was like Miss Congeniality, but I can't remember what they actually called it. Thanks to Chelsea for letting Shyler share in the excitement!
