Boys and Black Eyes

Easton has a black eye....No! i do not beat my son, but he seems to constantly be getting hurt! This is how it went down...
Easton was riding Shyler's 4 wheeler and it was time to put it away, so Cole told him to drive it into the shed....well Easton floored the foot pedal and went racing into the shed before Cole could grab him. Even after he lifted his foot to stop, the plastic wheels on the cement of the shed continued skidding and he slammed into the double jogger stroller we have in there. So the handle or something hit his left eye and it started swelling quickly and by the next morning, it was a full on purple/blue mess...I do have pics that i will post as soon as I take them off my camera tonight... Awe, the joys of being a mom to a 2 yr old boy...

A better pic of my class

Here's a better picture of my class that you can actually click on and see people's faces...

Trip to Washington

So my 10 year Reunion was coming up so we had to go to Washington. Cole had to stay home because of work, so my awesome friend Tasha volunteered to go up with me! We had a great time. We took 2 days to drive up so we could stop at the Columbia Gorge and stay in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Tasha is a photographer (http://www.justimaginephotography.com/) and she wanted to stop there to take pictures. We had a good time there hiking up to a waterfall and just enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Northwest. I didn't realize how much I had missed it until we were there.

The following day we drove the rest of the way to Anacortes, WA where we caught the ferry. This was Easton's very first ferry ride, and the first one that Shyler remembered. They loved it.

The next few days we spent running around the island visiting people and going to various reunion events. It was so fun to see all my highschool friends and to see how people have changed. Tasha loved my friends too and enjoyed the trip as much as me.

But it was also great to be home. I missed Cole and the kids also wanted to see their daddy. We flew home (we had driven my brother's car up to him) and this was also Easton's first airplane ride. (and again, Shyler's first that she remembered) so they both liked looking out the windows. Easton however wanted to stand up and push all the buttons and turn the lights on and off and he did not like it when he had to sit down and be buckled in!

It was a good time though. I'm so glad I was able to go!

Daddy's Truck

Cole's been driving for a friend's trucking company, and we had to go pick up the semi in Springville one night after it was fixed. The kids loved their little ride with daddy!

Diaper Bag and Baby Boy

Finally I'm getting some pictures up of the diaper bag I made for my sister in law!

Here it is! I made it from a pattern my sweet friend Amanda gave me!

And here are some pics of my darling new nephew, Korbin Tyler!

Zoey's Drama (not for the squeemish)

Zoey got a foxtail weed stuck in between her toes and we let it go for a few days, trying to see if she could get it. (we'd already tried and couldn't see anything to remove, just a hole) So Monday morning it was swollen again and she was limping so Cole took her to the Vet. They had to keep her overnight and do surgery to remove it. So Cole picked her up yesterday morning and told me that it was pretty swollen...he took the pictures. When I got home, it was worse! And bright red! It did not look good! We were thinking, oh great, they are going to have to open her up again! Cole took her back to the vet...and he said, Oh, the bandage is too tight! They told Cole to leave it on! Anyways, so he brought her home and it already looked better...poor thing! I feel awful for her. They didn't give us any painkillers for her or anything! But she's toughing it out!

Another Creation

I made two more applique onesies and I wanted to share. My sis in law, Shantel is having a little boy soon and they'll be naming him Korbin (how cute is that!)
